JULY 24 - 26, 2020, MIAMI BEACH, FL

Our annual HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Alumni & Friends Reunion Weekend was created to provide an exciting atmosphere for African American college graduates to reunite with classmates, form new alliances and enjoy with family and friends. The weekend includes a series of events that will recharge all attendees, leaving them renewed, reinvigorated and refocused on building partnerships that advance both our communities and beloved colleges and universities. We ask that you share our event with your alumni and colleagues to make this a stellar weekend. We look forward to you joining us for this unique opportunity to connect with alumni and advocates of historically black colleges & universities all over the country, celebrating black excellence!!!

We reserved rooms at several hotels in South Beach. Book your room early to lock in the discounted rates! More hotel options will be added and rates may change as rooms sell out.

Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) were founded to serve the African American community during segregation when most institutions of higher learning (especially in the South) prohibited blacks from enrolling. Cheyney University (Pennsylvania) established in 1837 was the first HBCU and Shaw University (North Carolina) was the first HBCU founded in the South in 1865.  Today there are over 100 HBCUs throughout the US producing the highest percentages of black doctors, lawyers, dentists, engineers, PhD grads, pharmacists, and military officers.

Absolutely! Each year we host 100s of guests from HBCUs, PWIs (Predominantly White Institutions), community colleges, trade schools, enlisted military, as well as business owners and professionals who chose not to continue their education after high school. This weekend is more about networking, enjoying life and raising money to give back to our beloved HBCUs.

Attendees can expect a variety events which will create a memorable experience among black professional college alumni reminiscent of an HBCU Homecoming weekend.

Attendees should pack their College/Greek paraphernalia for the Meet & Greet, White Clothing for the Yacht Party, Swimwear for the Pool Party, evening wear for the Friday night and Saturday night events and comfortable clothing for the brunch.

Yes. This year we added an option to secure you weekend pass with a $50 Nonrefundable deposit. You must pay the deposit by December 31, 2019 and the remaining balance of $149 in full by April 1, 2020.

We are looking for sponsors to help us with the investment required to make this weekend a huge success. Please contact us if your company or organizations is interested in being a sponsor.
